Pink Champagne Breast Cancer Survivors Dragon Boat team have just had another very successful fund raising festival. A great deal of planning and hard work by the team went into putting on the event, and it was lead brilliantly by Diana and her husband Bernard. We had a record 17 teams taking part in the dragon boat racing, which was won again by Portcastrians ! . We were lucky enough  to have Arsenal footballing legend, Bob Wilson OBE come along to open our festival. This year we had a zumba warm up for the first time. The sun shone all day, and we had lots of spectators come to watch and visit our various stalls. The money is still being counted, but we rely on events such as this to keep the team afloat, we use the money for such things as boat storage, maintenance, and kit.

A big thank-you to everyone who helped in any way, and supported our event and to Tim Smith and his team for running the racing part of the event.
